For the past few years I had been at a very, very low place in my life. There were times that I did not know if I could face another day or if I even wanted to. There is no way I can explain the void and pain I felt in my life. Had it not been for my faith, family and friends I don’t know that I would have survived. I have been prayer journaling for years. Back in December of 2018, I wrote in my prayer journal and ask God to PLEASE give me the desire, the will power and knowledge to change my health. I felt horrible and looked horrible. This, compounded with the rejection and abandonment that I already felt, was robbing me of any hope and joy in my personal life.
The following is an email I sent Quincy and her response when I found out she was going to coach her first FWTFL round:
“Good morning, Quincy!
I wish I could ”rent-a-quincy” to follow me around 24/7! You are such an inspiration to me. I really, really want to sign up for the FWTFL but I have some questions….
1 – Can I afford it?
2 – Can I even comprehend what to do 😂?
3 – How much exercise is involved? I work two jobs 🙄 and run a little short on time.
4 – Is there even any hope for me? Emotionally, mentally and physically I am almost a disaster.
I pray (seriously) that maybe this would help me regain part of my self-worth 🙏.

Dear XXXX,
Thank you so much for your kind words. That is my goal when I’m on social media, to bring a little joy and laughter into everyone’s day.
1. It is $199 for your first round. I know that sounds like a lot, and makes you fear you will waste money. When you break it down it’s $4 a day. But this has been the BEST investment I’ve ever made towards my health.
2. Yes, ABSOLUTELY you can comprehend it. That is what I am here for. I will break everything down for you guys. I didn’t even know what a Macro was when I started. No clue. One of the biggest things I love about this program is, once you got it…you got it. It will become second nature.
3. As much as you want to incorporate. For maximum results you want to try to do as many of the workouts as you can. But in my first round I did maybe 2 the whole six weeks, I focused solely on nutrition and lost 8lb and 11.75 inches. Just changing my eating habits. When you are ready to do the workouts you have 3 options.
1. A beginner workout (which is what I started with)
2. An at home workout.
3. A Gym workout. They are designed to be flexible for busy people. The workouts take 30-45 mins to complete. Super fast. We also have 2 actively recovery days where you can simply go for a walk, ride a bike, stretch…or nothing at all. Resting your body is huge in the FASTer Way To Fat Loss. Even if it’s not an active recovery day and your body feels tired, listen to it and rest.
4. There is always hope. I know where you are, because I have been there before….your confidence is low, You think “nothing will work for me” “I’ll never lose this weight” etc. but that is NOT true. Sometimes we need someone to just encourage us and remind us of our self worth and that’s what I’m going to do. You will do AMAZING! I tell everyone, if you just try you will see results. you don’t have to be perfect, I’m still not perfect and never will be. It is progress over perfection, each day you get a little better, stronger and healthier. You can absolutely do this, I will not let you fail.
This program has been an answered prayer for me in more than one way. You GOT a this XXXX! You CAN do it. Let me know if you have any more questions I will be happy to answer.

I knew the moment I received her response that I would sign up. Three days into the program I KNEW that God had heard and answered my prayers. I cannot type this without tears. Sometimes you just need someone to believe in you when you can’t believe in yourself. Quincy was that person for me.
I knew as soon as she announced that she was coaching that I wanted to give this a shot. I knew if anyone could encourage me, it would be her. She is such an inspiration to me.
I have seen so much success these first 6 weeks. Am I skinny today? No. Do I have confidence that I will get to a place in my life that I will be the best version of me? ABSOLUTELY!!!
